What are the benefits of private pay?

This is the best option to maintain full confidentiality due to not having to report client records to your insurance company.
There is no limit placed on your number of desired sessions.
Diagnoses are not required and will not be reported to your permanent health record.
Transparency and consistency in knowing what you are paying.

In Network Insurance

I am currently in network with Aetna, Cigna, BCBS, and Optum/United. If you are wanting to use your insurance, please advise that we must verify your specific plan prior to starting treatment.

Insurance Considerations:

I cannot guarantee that your insurance plan will cover your sessions.
Some plans may limit number of sessions covered.
Insurance companies may request your records, which can compromise the confidentiality of your treatment.
Insurance companies require a mental health diagnosis that will become part of your permanent health record.

If you are concerned about any of these considerations, please ask about them during your consultation call.

Out of Network Insurance

If you wish to utilize your out of network benefits, Ceremonial Counseling offers Super Bills by request that you may submit for potential reimbursement.

We recommend calling your insurance company to ask what your out of network benefits are prior to receiving services.
